Bambarakanda Fall
Bambarakanda Falls, the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka, stands at an impressive height of 790 feet. Located approximately 14 kilometers from Belihuloya towards Badulla, the waterfall is accessible via a small motorable road from Kalupahana, just 4 kilometers away. Surathalie Fall
Eight kilometers from Belihuloya, this waterfall can be seen from the Colombo-Badulla main road at Halpe. It is more of a water-slip than a waterfall, with water sliding down a rock wall on the eastern slope of Mt. Ellamana for about 65 feet before joining the Weli Oya. This waterfall can be reached in about 20 minutes.

Diyaluma Fall
The majestic Diyaluma Fall, the second highest in Sri Lanka, has a height of 220 meters and can be seen from the Koslanda-Wellawaya main road. This is the last of a series of waterfalls of the Poonagala Oya. The distance of 34 kilometers to the fall can be traversed in about 1.5 hours.

Rawana Fall

Located along the Colombo-Badulla road, about 10 kilometers from Belihuloya, this fall is about 6 meters in height and is among several smaller falls. This tributary of Weli Oya flows down the eastern slopes of Mt. Papulagala (1530m), forming several cascades among the surrounding monsoon forest. It takes about half an hour to reach this waterfall.

Papulagala Fall
Off the Badulla Road, 5 kilometers east of Belihuloya at Lower Hiralouvah, a steep winding road leads to Upper Hiralouvah through the Brampton Estate for about 4 kilometers. Here, the estate is bordered in the north by a rock range flanked by Mt. Papulagala. During the rains, a brook forms this waterfall, which is about 30 meters high. It can be seen from the A-4 Road.

Galagama Fall
This 500-foot waterfall is in a deep gorge in Belihuloya covered with large slippery rocks. To reach it, one must travel up to Ihalagalagama along a small motorable road for about 5 kilometers and then walk about 6 kilometers through paddy fields and scrub jungle. It takes about 2 hours to reach this waterfall.

Walawa Ganga Fall (West) -Gan Ella
This 30-meter waterfall is nestled in a deep monsoon forest about 22 kilometers from Balangoda. To reach this stunning fall, travel 8 kilometers up to Aldora along the Balangoda-Kaltota road, followed by another 8 kilometers to Mulgama via a rough, narrow road accessible only by jeep or tractor.
