Welcome to River Garden | Becks & Woods, where we cherish the opportunity to connect with nature and its wild inhabitants—along with your four-legged family members. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests—human, animal, and pet alike—please adhere to the following pet policy:

Permitted Pets

• Types of Pets Allowed: Dogs and cats.
• Pet Size Limit: Only small to medium-sized pets (up to 20 kg) are allowed. Please contact us if your pet is larger.
• Pet Limit: Maximum of 2 pets per room.

Pet Stay Guidelines

• Leash Policy: Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside your accommodation. [ Room ]
• Supervision: Pets should not be left unattended in rooms or public areas.
• Quiet Hours: Ensure your pet does not disturb the peace, especially during the quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM.
• Pet Waste: Please clean up after your pet immediately. Guests are required to bring their own waste disposal bags.

Do's

• Keep Pets Controlled: Always keep pets under control to avoid disturbing local wildlife.
• Respect Wildlife Boundaries: Maintain a safe distance from wildlife to prevent stress or danger to both your pet and the animals.
• Use Designated Areas: Utilize the designated pet areas for walking and play.
• Vaccination Proof: Ensure your pet is up-to-date with vaccinations and flea/tick treatments before arrival.
• Bedding & Blankets: Please bring any required bedding and blankets for your pets, as we do not provide these. Pets are not allowed on chairs, sofas, or beds.

Don'ts

• No Entry to Certain Areas: Pets are not allowed in dining areas, pool areas, or designated wildlife viewing zones.
• No Feeding Wildlife: Do not allow your pets to feed or chase wildlife under any circumstances.
• No Excessive Noise: Barking or howling that disturbs other guests or wildlife is not tolerated.
• ​​No Unattended Pets: Never leave pets unattended in vehicles or rooms without proper ventilation and water. Be aware that outdoor areas may have small but potentially harmful animals, such as lizards and snakes, which could be dangerous to pets. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure their pets' safety.
• Furniture: Pets are not permitted on chairs, sofas, or beds. If pets damage cushions, bed linens, or other furnishings, an additional cleaning fee will be charged.

Liability

• Pet Responsibility: Guests are fully responsible for any damage or injury caused by their pets.
• Emergency Contact: Please provide an emergency contact in case your pet requires attention while you are away.

Pet Fee

• Fee: A nominal pet cleaning fee of 1500 LKR | 5 USD per pet will be charged per day to ensure the comfort of future guests.
