Reaching the Belihuloya Adventure Camp in Kinchigune by bus is both convenient and scenic. From Colombo, Kandy, or Ella, take a long-distance bus heading to Badulla, Bandarawela, or Haputale. If you’re traveling from Colombo, you can pre-book your tickets for added ease. Request the bus driver to drop you off at the Pambahinna junction along the Colombo-Badulla route. From there, a short tuk-tuk ride will take you directly to the Adventure Camp in Kinchigune. The bus journey is a visual treat, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and countryside as you near Belihuloya.

Driving to the Belihuloya Adventure Camp in Kinchigune is a straightforward and enjoyable experience. From Colombo or Kandy, the 3 to 4-hour drive follows the A4 highway through Avissawella and Ratnapura. If you're traveling from Ella, take the A16 route to Wellawaya, then join the A4 at Beragala and head towards Belihuloya. Upon reaching the Pambahinna junction, it’s a short 3 km drive towards Kinchigune Village to reach the camp. Along the way, you'll be treated to breathtaking vistas of rolling hills, waterfalls, and picturesque rural landscapes. Ample parking is available for guests arriving by car.

Although there is no direct train service to Kinchigune, you can take a train from Colombo Fort, Kandy, or Ella to Haputale, Bandarawela, or Idalgashinna on the scenic Kandy-Badulla railway line. Once you arrive, you can hire a taxi or tuk-tuk for a 30-40 minute ride to the Belihuloya Adventure Camp. Alternatively, hop on a bus towards Balangoda or Colombo from Haputale or Bandarawela and get off at the Pambahinna junction, where you can take a tuk-tuk to reach the camp. The train journey itself is one of Sri Lanka’s most picturesque, offering breathtaking views of misty hills, lush tea plantations, and dramatic landscapes.
